Abstract: Perl´s staining is one of the oldest cytochemical
techniques, almost unchanged since its original
description. It is one of the best methods to find
the iron (Fe) in the bone marrow (BM), which is in
the form of hemosiderin, this is important for the
diagnosis of a variety of hematological diseases.
