ALK-positive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma:
a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge

Abstract: Diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is now
considered a clinical-pathological entity.
The DLBCL ALK positive (+) is a rare (<1%) and
distinct histologic variant with plasma cell differentiation,
own clinical, histopathological and immunohistochemical
characteristics, usually aggressive
clinical behavior, poor prognosis and bad response
to currently available therapies.
