Mandrile L, CastillaA Abstract: Essential thrombocythemia is a clonal chronic myeloproliferative
neoplasm BCR-ABL negative characterized by
persistent thrombocytosis. Although the most common
complications are thromboembolic and hemorrhagic, in
the long-term evolution can be highlighted infrequent
comorbidities such as nodular regenerative hyperplasia,
focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, erythromelalgia and
